Unable to connect clients  - Exchange services timing out.
These services: "Microsoft Exchange RPC Client Access" "Microsoft Exchange Service Host" are set to Automatically start, but they timeout (recorded event in event log). Without these services starting, my Outlook clients cannot connect. I'm able to start the services after the system completely starts up. I've increased the service timeout to 60000ms, applied patches, and changed registry keys, but still won't automatically start-up. --jp

You shouldn't have to modify anything for the services to start. You are trying to deal with the symptoms, not the cause. More information required though. Version of Exchange and Windows involved. If not on the lastest service pack / rollup for both, why not? New deployment or existing. If existing, what changed? What else is on the server?
